FAQ
Is it really free?
Yes. Tedralink Files is free — no subscription, no ads.
Do my files go through your servers?
No. Everything runs on your own PC or phone and connects directly to your servers.
How do I connect to a NAS or a Windows PC?
"Add connection" → SMB → "🔍 Find on network". Pick a server, enter user/password (or guest) and choose a share. SMB2+ is required; SMB1-only devices are not supported for security reasons.
Windows shows a SmartScreen warning
The installer is not code-signed yet. Click "More info" → "Run anyway". You can verify the file against SHA256SUMS.txt.
Why does Android ask for "All files access"?
So it can manage every file on the phone like a regular file manager. The app never sends files anywhere unless you ask it to.
